Student Eligibility & Age Brackets
Candidates must fall strictly within specified categories: Category A (Primary 4–6, Ages 7–10) or Category B (JSS 1–3, Ages 11–14). Falsification of birth dates, classes, or student identity results in immediate disqualification.
Unique Account Registration
Each participant must have a distinct valid email address. Multiple registrations using the same email address are strictly prohibited to maintain leaderboard integrity.
Pre-Test Attempts
Participants are allowed up to two (2) attempts per online pre-test step. The highest score between valid attempts is recorded for qualification.
Stage Pass Benchmarks
To advance through the tournament, students must meet standard minimum scores: Step 1 Online: 60% • Step 2 Online: 70% • Stage 3 CBT Semi-Finals: 80%. Only the top 16 performers per category advance to the Grand Finale.
Original Project Exhibition
Grand Finale science exhibitions must feature original student design and creativity. Any demonstrated plagiarism or commercial kit presentation without student innovation will result in penalty or disqualification.
Data Privacy & Media Consent
Participant bio-data is protected and utilized solely for competition logistics. Official photographs and video recordings taken during public finale rounds may be featured in competition media and press releases.
Anti-Malpractice & Integrity Code
Any form of automated assistance, impersonation, or exam malpractice during CBT or stage tests will result in immediate disqualification and notification of the affiliated school.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are established under the educational regulations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, administered by Haven of Hope Academy and the JOS STEM organizing board.
