Please read these terms and conditions carefully before participating in the JOS STEM Competition
By registering for the JOS STEM Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These rules are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and a rewarding experience for all participants.
Eligibility
Candidates must meet the specified age and school ranges. All information provided during registration must be accurate and verifiable. Participants who provide false information will be immediately disqualified.
Registration
Each participant's email address must be unique. Registration is exclusively conducted through the official competition website. Multiple registrations using the same email address are not permitted.
Attempts
Participants are allowed two (2) attempts for each pre-selection step of the competition. Make each attempt count as only two chances are provided per stage.
Pass Marks
To advance, participants must achieve the following minimum scores: Step 1: 60%, Step 2: 70%, CBT: 80%. These benchmarks ensure only the most qualified candidates progress to the next stage.
Original Work
Only original projects will be accepted for exhibition. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification from the competition. We celebrate creativity and innovation!
Privacy & Data Protection
Personal data collected will be used solely for the administration of the competition. Participant photos and names may be used for promotional purposes with prior consent. Your privacy is our priority.
Disqualification
Malpractice, cheating, or the submission of falsified information will lead to immediate disqualification from the JOS STEM Competition. Integrity is at the core of our competition values.
Liability
The organizers are not responsible for technical failures, travel expenses, or any other incidental costs incurred by participants during the competition. Participants are advised to plan accordingly.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All disputes shall be resolved under Nigerian jurisdiction.
